After attending an educational seminar at Atlanta General and Bariatric Surgery Center, I made the decision to have gastric sleeve surgery. Dr. Johnson and the staff at Atlanta General and Bariatric Surgery Center were very helpful throughout the entire process, including helping me with insurance approval. Though having surgery was a very personal decision that took much soul searching, my only regret is that I did not have it sooner. I am pretty sure it saved my life. My health problems have vanished, and I feel great. The day before surgery, I weighed 244 pounds. One year later I weigh 164 pounds.
